1/35 GERMAN Sd.Kfz.2 KETTENKRAFTRAD (MID-PRODUCTION)

A Trusty Servant The smallest of the WWII German half-track vehicles, the Kettenkraftrad was nonetheless a major presence and active in many duties. It featured a central engine and a motorcycle handlebar at the front, with superlative balance and the power and mobility to take on rough terrain. Over eight thousand were produced during WWII, and those manufactured between 1943 and 1944 had distinctive features such as a rounded taillight base, plus reinforcing plates on the armrests of the rear seat.

1/48 SCALE GERMAN PANZERKAMPFWAGEN V Ausf.L

Backbone of the Panzerkorps This scaled-down version of the 1/48 Panzer III Ausf.L features masterful detail in a compact package. The tank's L/60 cannon is accurately depicted, together with impressive reproduction of the spaced armor panels added to the turret and hull front. Further exquisite detailing, which is amazingly simple to assemble, includes spare track roller wheels and miscellaneous equipment mounted onto the hull. This model includes separate parts to depict hull-side escape hatches and shot deflector below the gun mantlet, features that were dropped from later versions of the Ausf.L. Assembly type tracks even capture realistic slackness of the upper track section. Kit includes 3 sets of markings to depict units including the sPzAbt 502 serving in Russia and the 10th Panzer Division in Tunisia. About the PanzerKampfwagen III Ausf.L The Ausf. L version of the German main battle tank Pz.Kpfw. III was produced from July 1942, and possessed basic structure and performance specifications similar to previous versions. Armament consisted of an improved, long barreled Kwk50 L/60 tank gun, which was effective against Russian T34 tanks up to a range of 600m, plus two 7.92mm MG34 machine guns. Front armor thickness was increased to 57mm, and 20mm thick spaced armor was added to the gun mantlet as well. The suspension system was strengthened to cope with the 200kg of added weight. In total 635 Ausf. Ls were produced by the end of 1942, most seeing active service on the Eastern and North African Fronts. About the Model ★Assembly model of the Pz.Kpfw. 1/35 GERMAN Mtl.SPW Sd.Kfz. 251/1 Ausf.D

During WWII, German armored divisions effectively used Hanomag half-track armored carriers in transport and support roles. Among the many variations was the Sd.Kfz. 251/1 Ausf.D which first appeared in 1943 and is now faithfully depicted as a plastic assembly model kit. The features of the distinctively styled Ausf.D which includes the open top cabin, seats, and wireless radio have been realistically reproduced in great detail. The rear gate can also be depicted in either open or closed position. Included with the Ausf.D are 4 figures in dynamic poses such as the driver looking back from the driver's seat as well as the commander showing the direction of the enemy. In addition, weapons such as a Panzerfaust and MG42 machine gun are included with the kit for added realism.

1/35 U.S. MEDIUM TANK M4 SHERMAN (EARLY PRODUCTION)

This is a 1/35 scale plastic assembly kit of the M4 Sherman, the U.S. Army's mainstay tank during WWII which greatly contributed to the eventual Allied victory. The kit depicts an early production version that was powered by a radial engine and featured sloped frontal armor and a turret without a loader's hatch. Different production methods were used to produce the actual tank, and the welded hull and cast turret have been accurately reproduced. Modellers can also enjoy turret interior details such as the main gun breech and radio equipment. Parts for accessories such as additional hull and turret armor, large fenders, and spare track links are also included. Comes with driver and radio operator torso figures as well as 1 commander figure.

1/35 SCALE U.S. 81mm MORTAR CARRIER M21

U.S. military planners experimented with half-track designs from the late 1920s and employed a number of vehicles during WWII. Among them was the M21 mortar carrier, which was officially adopted in June 1943. It featured a frame on the fighting compartment floor for the mortar that allowed sixty degrees of left and right traverse. The vehicle was also equipped with a 12.7mm heavy machine gun, bazooka, mines and a wide range of other weapons. It saw use until the 1960s as a training vehicle.
