2026 marks 40 years since the 1986 release of the Hotshot Jr., the first Racing Mini 4WD model, and what better way to commemorate it with this model paying tribute to the legendary Zenperor 3 car that was designed by Yasuyuki Maeda (“Mae-chan”)? The polycarbonate body is inspired by the original Zenperor 3, and is paired with the VZ chassis molded in dark blue plastic, and featuring pearl white color A parts. Its 5-spoke wheels and super hard tires with offset tread are a great race option, too. Don’t forget to check out the commentary piece in the instruction written by Mae-chan himself!

The VZ chassis is a compact and lightweight design that features reinforced designs for bumper, rear stay base and more ensuring that it has the durability and flexibility to withstand racing accidents. It is also a rather adaptable unit that lets its owner make numerous updates to the setup. Low friction 620 plastic bearings are molded in POM and maximize drive efficiency, while the chassis and A parts are molded in ABS. This chassis features a gear ratio of 3.5:1.
