1/10 R/C TRF104 CHASSIS KIT

This hi-spec 2WD formula chassis is built around a 2.5mm thick carbon fiber lower deck and takes an LF battery pack (M-Size) in the center. Front suspension features 2.5mm thick carbon fiber lower arms and plastic upper arms, and camber angle is adjustable. Rear suspension has ball connectors equipped on the motor mount and the roll center is based around the rear suspension. The model centering is controlled by roll springs under the rear shaft, and friction grease on roll dampers at motor mount front allows adjustment of roll speed. The pitching is controlled by an FRP suspension plate and a TRF damper. The motor mount has parts for adjustment of ground clearance and wheelbase. Choose from two rear wing attachment methods.

  • The servo is positioned toward the rear and on its side to help keep a low center of gravity. An ackerman plate allows 4 different settings.
  • The front suspension uses plastic upper and 2.5mm carbon fiber lower arms, the latter with 2 different attachment options.
  • The simple yet reliable kingpin/coil spring front setup.
  • Use a 2mm hex wrench to alter upper arm length and front camber.
  • Alter upper arm mount position to switch between 6, 9 and 12 degrees of caster.
  • Choose between five ground clearances at intervals of 0.8mm - the maximum is 4mm. 267mm and 264.5mm wheelbases are on offer.
  • Ball connectors are placed front and rear of the motor mount, and the roll center is based around the rear suspension.
  • Balance is maintained by roll springs under the rear shaft, with a friction damper in front of the motor mount.
  • Pitch damping is taken care of by the FRP suspension plate and a TRF damper.
  • The carbon fiber rear shaft is fitted with a ball differential employing twelve 3mm balls. Adjust the differential using the 4mm lock nut.
  • The chassis is designed for use with the LF1100-6.6V Racing Pack (sold separately), or other square-shaped battery packs.
  • Choose between two rear wing positions. Using Item 53596 (sold separately) gives a further setup option.
