1/24 Sports Car Series No.78

1/24 NISSAN SILVIA K's

Length: 185 mm. Image shows painted and assembled kit.

The Nissan Silvia was a major force in the late 1980s specialty car market, and in May 1988 the all-new fifth generation Silvia (S13) made its debut to immediate acclaim, its sleek, sophisticated 2-door coupe body and the distinctive curves employed in the interior propelling it to a Good Design Award. Three grades were on offer: J's, Q's and K's, the latter of which was the most advanced and saw the Silvia given an 1,800cc 175hp twin turbo 4-cylinder engine. Combined with front strut and rear multi-link four-wheel independent suspension, this rear-wheel drive sports car drew considerable attention from the market.
About the Model
This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit. Length: 185mm, width: 82mm. ★The 2-door coupe form is accurately depicted, capturing the subtle blend of linear and curved design elements on the real car. ★A detailed interior has separately molded parts for the so-called "monoform" bucket seats, two center console options, and the rear shelf. ★The chassis undersurface has depctions of the exhaust system and drivetrain. Separate parts for upper arms and other components give an insight into the rear multi-link suspension mechanism. ★Clear parts recreate the front lights, which employ quadruple headlights. ★Synthetic rubber tires have realistic tread patterns. ★Choose to assemble as left- or right-hand drive.
