Launched in 1959, the Morris Mini Minor brought a fresh idea to everyday driving: maximum space, minimum footprint and a layout that felt brilliantly ahead of its time. Its compact front-mounted 850 cc 4-cylinder engine, front-wheel drive and clever packaging created room for four adults in a body built for city streets. The Mini quickly became a symbol of British motoring ingenuity — practical, playful and unmistakably full of character. In 1964, the high-performance 1275 Cooper S joined the lineup with a 1,275 cc, 75 hp engine, front disc brakes and further upgrades, giving this small icon the pace and confidence to shine in races and rallies.
