This assembly kit creates The Hornet Jr., an exciting Mini 4WD car that is based upon the legendary 1984 R/C car. The simple form inspired by a single-seater buggy and its frisky drive translate well into the smaller-scale world of Mini 4WD. This machine features depictions such as front strut suspension, fog lamps and its distinctive nose design plus a driver figure. Yellow and orange markings are recreated with stickers. The VZ chassis is compact, lightweight and race-oriented, and offers a lot of potential for customization. Inspired by the R/C buggy, the Hornet Jr. provides great performance as a Mini 4WD car too.

VZ Chassis
The VZ chassis is a compact and lightweight design that features reinforced designs for bumper, rear stay base and more ensuring that it has the durability and flexibility to withstand racing accidents. It is also a rather adaptable unit that lets its owner make numerous updates to the setup. Low friction 620 plastic bearings are molded in POM and maximize drive efficiency, while the chassis and A parts are molded in ABS. This chassis features a gear ratio of 4.2:1.
