1/12 SCALE HONDA CBR 1100XX SUPER BLACKBIRD

Length: 181 mm. Image shows painted and assembled kit.

Honda’s CBR 1100XX Super Blackbird burst into the public consciousness in 1996 with an eye-watering top speed of over 300 km/h that it wrung out of a 164 hp 1,137 cc liquid cooled 4-cylinder DOHC engine nestled in its aluminum twin tube frame, thanks in part to cowlings honed during extensive hours in the wind tunnel. It also sported technological advancements such as the Dual Combined Brake System (DCBS) and HMAS dampers. Add to that performance its superb looks, and you have plenty of reasons why the CBR 1100XX was recognized as being at the pinnacle of super sports bikes.
