I Will Get it There, No Problem! From 1937 through to 1944, approximately 70,000 of these tough cargo trucks with the Kfz.305 designation were made. First produced in 1935 as a civilian truck, it had a simple design, a rear-wheel drive system, and a 6-cylinder gasoline engine producing 68hp. Due to its excellent durability and running performance as well as great load carrying potential thanks to its large cargo bay, it was pressed into military service. This truck could be seen throughout Europe and Russia as well as North Africa carrying soldiers, ammunition, and fuel, supporting the German troops to the very last days of the war. |
