Helping Keep the Peace Suzuki's 2nd-generation 4-stroke 750cc bike, the GSX750E debuted in 1980 and showcased a wealth of advanced features including a high-spec DOHC 16-valve engine and anti-nose dive front suspension. Performance was suitably top-class, and thus the GSX750E was tabbed by a number of Japanese local police forces for use as a service motorcycle (often referred to as "shirobai" in Japan). Police forces typically fitted a circular headlight, revolving light, siren and speaker among other modifications.
