Basic Maintenance of Receiver Unit
Keep your receiver at top efficiency.

R/C Mini 4WD is all about the fun of speed control. You will find here instructions for maintenance of the receiver that controls ON/OFF switching of motor. This maintenance is easy to perform and will keep your receiver at top efficiency.
Applying "Switch Lubricant" prior to assembly
Applying Switch Lubricant
Apply sufficient quantity of Switch Lubricant.
Apply lubricant grease on these 4 locations.

Switches of the receiver through which electricity passes are very important. Apply separately available Switch Lubricant during assembly and it will prevent the switch from getting rusty or dirty and will provide you with smooth running. The grease will not run due to temperature increase and will maintain smooth contact point on switch.

Maintenance when rust appears.
Finishing Paper.
Use #1000 Finishing Paper.
Sand off rust
Sand until no rust remains.
Applying lubricant.
Do not forget to apply lubricant.
If you didn't use lubricant grease when you built your model, rust may form. Rust will hinder contact so you will have to sand off rust completely with #1000 Finishing Paper. Then, apply Switch Lubricant and your R/C Mini 4WD will run smoothly just like new.

If you have to remove the receiver unit
Remove receiver unit from the chassis the same way as if you wanted to change band and apply Switch Lubricant for best efficiency. Remove old grease before applying new coat.
