Easily dominating the 2002 WRC MotoGP class with the revolutionary RC211V, Honda deployed 7 RC211V to 4 teams for the 2003 season. One of the teams, Team Honda Pons, underwent big changes in 2003 with new sponsorship from tobacco giant Camel and two new riders, Max Biaggi and Tohru Ukawa. Like other teams, Team Honda Pons RC211V featured revolutionary technology including the powerful V5 4-stroke engine and Honda's unique unit pro-link suspension. With Biaggi finishing 3rd overall in the Riders Championship and Ukawa performing consistently all throughout the season, the yellow RC211V showed its strength and reliability on circuits around the world.

About the Model:
A beautifully finished 1/12 scale fully assembled model of the RC211V which took Max Biaggi to 3rd place in the 2003 Riders Championship.
Accurately reproduced revolutionaly V5 engine and unique unit pro-link suspension.
Specially altered tank cover and seat cowling redesigned to match the small physique of the Honda Pons riders has also been accurately reproduced.
Wheels made using die-cast parts, creating a realistic sense of weight and power.

Coinciding with Max Biaggi's bike, Tamiya also releases Tohru Ukawa's 2003 Honda Pons bike.
Specially altered tank cover and seat cowling redesigned to match the small physique of the Honda Pons riders has also been accurately reproduced.
Side cowling and under cowl can be detached using precision screws (screwdriver included)
