| 【 Honda S800 】 By the 1960s, Honda had already established itself as a leading motorcycle manufacturer. Using the experience and expertise gained from their motorcycles, the company began to develop passenger cars, and the S800 was the culmination of Honda's first sports car series that began with the S500. Debuting at the 1965 Tokyo Motor Show, the S800 featured an 800cc DOHC 4-cylinder engine matched with a chain-drive system. These innovations gave the S800 respectable performance for its time and the car was successful in various race events around the world. |
