| 【 Jaguar Mk.II Saloon 】 Jaguar made waves at the 1959 British International Motor Show with its sleek, 4-door Mk.II Saloon. Not only did it have stylish looks, it also had the performance to back it up. The car could be equipped with one of three different DOHC inline-6 engines, 2.4, 3.2, or 3.8 liter displacements, front double wishbone and rear rigid axle suspension system, and 4-wheel disc brakes. With its superb performance, the Jaguar Mk.II Saloon won numerous touring car and rally races, and was one of Jaguar's main models until the end of its production run in 1967. |
