Based on the high performance TB-02 chassis, the R/C Subaru Impreza features a lightweight, shock resistant polycarbonate body, and faithfully reproduces the car's uniquely styled side mirrors and sectioned rear wing. The Impreza also comes with gold colored wheels and medium narrow racing slick tires. Subaru driver Petter Solberg and the 4-cylinder, 16 valve, turbocharged Impreza dominated the gravel tracks in 2004, with impressive victories in New Zealand, Greece, Japan, Great Britain and Italy.

The Impreza employs a longitudinally mounted motor and shaft driven 4WD chassis for the ultimate in drivability. The ultra-slim "bathtub frame" reduces road interference and provides optimum balance, while the 4 wheel double wishbone suspension with oil dampers hugs the road and offers great shock absorption. This chassis is configured for competitive racing and includes the following standard features: full ball bearing front and rear differential gearbox, aluminum propeller shaft, front and rear suspension with CVA Mini Shock dampers and turnbuckle shafts, medium narrow racing slick tires and urethane bumper for crash protection.
