| Introducing the JGSDF Light Armored Vehicle as a high performance off road R/C car. Capable of accommodating 4 personnel, the JGSDF Light Armored Vehicle is fitted with a 160hp liquidcooled 4-cycle 4-cylinder diesel engine, allowing it to reach top speeds of 100km/h. Weighing just 4.5 tons, it is able to be carried by a CH-47J helicopter or C-130H transport aircraft for emergency air-drops. In 2004, Light Armored Vehicles were deployed in Iraq to take part in the Japan Ground Self Defense Force's humanitarian assistance mission. |

This model is equipped with 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension with oil dampers and block tires that allow this model to run on any type of terrain. The power of the rear mounted motor is transferred to front wheels via propeller shaft. Bathtub type chassis equipped with front/rear gear differentials for smooth cornering.
