2001 marked a face-lift for the Subaru design with the coming out of its all new World Rally Championship car. The rear wing that just barely attaches to the back of the car and four headlight display became a trademark of the new Impreza WRC. The machine's potential was made apparent at the opener for the WRC 2001.
