RACE REPORT
ROAR CIRCUIT Roar is known as one of the most competitive R/C races in the world. And since top-finishers at Roar are allowed to enter the IFMAR World Championships, R/C drivers look upon this race very seriously.

Tamiya's drivers were entered in the "modified-class" for works teams. This class is regarded as one of the toughest, because it includes only world-class drivers who belong to manufacturers' teams.

Tamiya entered two drivers in this race, Jimmy Jacobson and David Jun. Jimmy ran a great race right from the start and even managed to beat out former Reedy Race champion, Berry Baker, for the pole position. David also ran well, securing an overall 5th place result after the qualifying rounds.

David comments, "In this class, even the slightest different in setting greatly affects performance; I was able to perfectly recreate the Jimmy's settings on my chassis. The setting potential of this chassis is amazing!" These words are further testament to the high performance of the TRF414M chassis. And since the setting used by these professional drivers will soon be available on this website, anybody will be able to duplicate the winning settings of the Tamiya Racing Factory drivers. Furthermore, this high-speed race took place on high-traction carpet, offering an excellent chance to prove the TRF414M on yet another racing surface.

The final stages of the race were tight, but Tamiya's drivers relied on sheer speed in the straight-aways and nimble cornering through the curves, chalking up impressive 2nd and 9th place finishes.
