MALAYSIA INTERNATIONAL TOURING RACE YEAR 2001

TRF414M Chassis takes 3rd place at Malaysia's Top Class Event

At the Malaysia International Touring Race held on Feb 17-18 2001, Thai driver, Surikarn Chaidajsuriya, ran his TRF414M Chassis (custom pack) to a brilliant 3rd place finish. Showing smooth running right from the start of the prelims, Surikarn once again proved the power of Tamiya's TRF414M.

As one of the largest races of its kind in Malaysia, it drew heavy support from various newspapers. Surikarn, who was also a top-finisher at the Sanyo Tamiya World Championships, displayed cool confidence and skillful driving throughout the event.

The top finisher in the event was Masami Hirosaka, followed by Atsushi Hara. A third place finish for Surikarn among many world class drivers was a great achievement. Also using the TRF414M chassis was another Thai driver, Chatpong Kunakornkasem, who made an impressive 6th place finish overall.
