DESIGN CHANGE ON THE FOLLOWING PARTS
 |
|
|
Front & Rear Bulkheads |
Due to the change of the stabilizer attachment position, the number of holes has been increased on the bulkheads. However, the stabilizers can be attached in the original way of the TRF414M Conversion Kit using the new bulkheads. Although some small holes have been added to the bulkheads to facilitate production, the strength of the parts is not lost.

When you replace the original bulkheads with the new ones, please pay attention to the following points.
Front Bulkheads:
It is also possible to replace only one of either the right or left front stabilizer with the new one. The stabilizer attachment position is unaffected.

Rear Bulkheads:
As the attachment position of the damper stay has been moved backward by 0.5mm, both the right and left bulkheads have to be replaced with the new ones.

Change of Tension Pulley Position |
On the TRF414M, the hole for the tension pulley on the lower deck has been moved backward a little bit. In case of replacing the original lower deck with the new one,
some adjustments of the drive belt are needed.

Universal Shafts |
The universal shafts for the TRF414 series were improved before. Furthermore, in time for the release of the TRF414M, they were again modified to be compatible with the ball diff. for the TA04, which comes with the TRF414M. The material of the shafts was also improved. The new universal shafts have a dog-bone head which is 6.0mm in diameter (6.2mm on the old one), and are shorter by 1mm than the old ones. Using the new universal shafts with the ball diff. for the TRF414, you will find more clearance. But don't worry, you will see a smooth connection between those parts.

The universal shafts consist of a dog-bone shaped swing shaft and wheel axle. To keep a well-balanced sturdy structure, do not mismatch the old and new parts.
