| 【 About Brushless Motors 】 Brushless motors are a new generation power source for electric R/C models. In a conventional brushed motor, there are magnets inside the motor case, and the brushes are equipped to change the current flow direction to the armature coil-windings, forming an electrical circuit between the power source and the armature. In a brushless motor, the armature coil-windings are placed inside the motor case, and the permanent magnets rotate instead. Further, an electronic speed controller manages the current flow direction to the armature and performs power distribution to run the motor. As it doesn’t have consumable brushes, it features a maintenance free design. Furthermore, as there are no mechanical communications based on brush system, it has no sparks from the commutator and features reduced noise and an extremely high rotation. |
