| 【 The Mainstay 】 The Panzer II was the mainstay of the German Panzer Divisions and covered for the delays of the Panzer III and IV tanks at the invasion of Poland. It was designed as a light tank for training use and featured a compact hull with 2cm canon on the turret. The Ausf. A-C variants were deployed to the Polish front and featured a rounded hull front which had additional frontal armor installed later. |
