【 About the SU-122 】 The SU-122 was the first authentic self-propelled gun developed by the Russian Army during WWII. It used the T-34 tank chassis and was fitted with a simple fixed superstructure with a 122mm howitzer. It featured an impressive offensive ability and performaned superbly on the battlefield. It became the basis from which later vehicles such as the SU-85 and SU-100 were developed.
