【 About the SU-85 】 The SU-85 was developed by the Russian Army as a self-propelled anti-tankgun. It was based on the T-122's chassis and was equipped with a powerful 85mm gun to counter the German Tiger I. It featured a low silhouette with sloped frontal armor. First introduced in autumn 1943, the SU-85 went on to serve in both anti-tank and fire support duties. |
