The designers of the 360 Spider invested considerable efforts to make this convertible as aerodynamic as its hard-top counterpart by adopting racing features. For example, to enhance downforce, the engineers added a "nolder" (a protuberance on the edge of the tail), which was a solution first adopted on Formula 1 cars. Tamiya's 1/24 scale model recreates this speedy racing style, complete with nolder and flat engine cover.
