※Enlarged Image

【 Mark of a New Challenger 】 The Jordan 191 was the first car fielded by Jordan Grand Prix, which participated in Formula One beginning with the 1991 season. It was a design with such unique aerodynamic features as a high nose with anhedral front wing, double diffuser tunnels, and a 3-step rear wing. Power came for the reliable Ford HB V8 engine. With A. de Cesaris and B. Gachot at the wheel, the team had a difficult rookie year but still managed to finish in 5th place in the constructors' standings. Perhaps this machine is most notable for being the first car Michael Schumacher drove in his Formula One career.
