【 The 2001 World Champion 】 The F2001 is the car which took M. Schumacher to the Formula One Drivers' World Championship and Ferrari to the Constructors' version. Its slanting nose represented something of a departure from the previous year's F1-2000 model and the lower part of the nose's central area was a curved 3D design which conformed to new lower front downforce rule changes. The car's suspension provided excellent mechanical grip and the power was supplied by the reliable 3-liter V10 engine. Fitted with technologically advanced traction control and launch control, the car was piloted to 9 raced wins by Schumacher with R. Barichello finishing the runner up on 5 occasions. The car even managed to collect points in all races of the season, proving its champion qualities.
