| With a venue space greater than the size of three Tokyo Domes and more than 70,000 new product announcements, the sheer scale of the Nuremberg Toy Fair boggles the mind. This annual event is in it's 59th year and is held in the German city of Nuremberg from February 7th-12th this year. Over 2,750 hobby, toy, and crafts manufacturers from 60 countries are displaying a wide variety of products, which range from plastic models, R/C models, and miniature cars to train models, stuffed animals, and handicraft items. Furthermore, the fair will also be hosting industry forums and special themed exhibits, making it a must-see event for the 80,000 visitors from 120 countries around the world who want to know what the industry's trends will be for this year. Tamiya has been at this prestigious event since 1968, and this year marks our 41st consecutive year as an exhibitor. Needless to say, many highly-anticipated new item announcements will be revealed to the public at the Tamiya booth. |

| Event Report This year marks the 59th year of the world's largest toy fair, the Nuremberg Toy Fair, which is held annually in Germany. Buyers and Press members from around the world attended the event and the atmosphere was quite exciting. At Tamiya's gorgeously appointed booth, many products including R/C models, Educational Contruction Series, and Mini 4WD were on display, with the highly-anticipated new releases drawing the most attention from visitors. |

In the R/C Model category, the new 1/10 R/C Toyota Land Cruiser 40 rock-crawler, 1/14 3-Axle Reefer Semi-Trailer, 1/16 R/C German Jagdpanther, and 1/10 R/C Toyota Hilux High-Lift with MFC-02 unit were the stars of the R/C demonstration stage. Not to be outdone, the new 1/35 R/C Panther Type G also garnered a large amount of attention from visitors. In the Scale Model category, the 1/48 Military Miniatures Series and 1/48 Aircraft Series combined display, as well as the fabulous 1/12 Ferrari GTO (Semi-Assembled Premium Model) proved to be extremely popular. The Tamiya booth also featured a display of the actual Porsche 911 GT3 Cup VIP 2007 race car, the subject of a new Tamiya R/C model, which enabled visitors to see first hand just how realistic the R/C model was. |
