TAKE ME HAYA
Keith Bristow has built the 1/12 scale replica of the charming Suzuki Hayabusa 1300 (GSX1300)R, which was designed using the latest techniques and technologies. This bike modeler discusses how to enhance realism of your model drilling brake discs and other various details. He also explains how to use Alclad II paints to make metallic parts even more convincing.
DUCK SOUP
The DUKW amphibious vehicle was used by the American Army during WWII in Normandy and in the Pacific. The editor, Marcus Nicholls, presents Italeri's brand new replica of the DUKW. Marcus informs readers about where to be careful during assembly and how to detail up your model using plastic sheets and photo-etched parts. You will also be very impressed with his masterfully realized, authentic paint job.
SAND STORM
An article about the Eduard 1/48 scale replica of the Messerschmitt Bf108 Taifun representing an aircraft used in North Africa painted with a sand yellow and olive green camouflage. The wide and clear canopy of this masterfully built model lets you view every detail of the cockpit. German plane fans will be very satisfied.
NUMBER OF THE BEAST
The Editor had built the PSP Model 1/35 scale resin kit of the Corbitt 6X6 truck with a 16t Freuhauf trailer. As with the DUKW, you will enjoy Marcus Nicholls' painting and weathering techniques. Many color pictures will allow you to view the smallest details.
