The 36th Figure Remodeling Contest featured many entries that were inspired by real-life personalities. Mr. Satoshi Tsujimura, winner of the Bronze Award in the 35th Figure Remodeling Contest, takes the win in his second attempt. His piece features exquisitely detailed facial expressions and clothing, as well as realistically natural poses. The Silver Prize goes to Mr. Taro Osanai, who brilliantly captured the wicked, menacing look of Davy Jones. Mr. Shuichi Shiratsu rounds out the top three with his Bronze Prize-winning piece that features a memorable portrait of comical characters. Many famous personalities made the headlines in 2007, and recognizing them among the entries will be fun and delightful. All of these award-winning entries are set to be displayed at various Tamiya events this year and we highly encourage you to come and admire them in person. |
