1/48 North American P-51D Mustang Korean War

The American P-51D Mustang is considered one of the best fighters of WWII with its long range, high speed and high maneuverability capacities. After the war, the Air Force became independent from the Army becoming the USAF and the designation for the Mustang changed to F-51D. This plastic assembly kit represents the F-51D during the Korean War. Its refined style, with its sharp nose and its belly radiator, are accurately reproduced. During the Korean War, the Mustang overtook the ground-attacking role. Parts for recreation of two 500 pounds bombs, 6 HVAR rockets and 75 gallons tanks used as napalm bombs can be fitted to the kit to recreate the awesome fighting power of this plane. A pilot figure and decals for 3 different sets of markings are also included in this kit.
