The mechanics of the F40 follow the standard Ferrari practice of using materials and technology obtained from F1 racing. The F40's mid-ship mounted 2936cc V8 twin turbo charged engine generates 478hp. The F40 features all the high-performance of an F1 racing car taken from the circuit and brought to public roads. |
