Educational Construction Series Product Recall

Thank you very much for your constant support of Tamiya’s products. We have discovered that a number of Educational Construction Series products (see list below) have been shipped with problematic circuit boards. When batteries are installed, these defective circuit boards may cause excessive heat build-up, leading to the product becoming inoperable. Tamiya has thus decided to conduct a recall of these products. If you live in Japan, please send the products back to Tamiya, Inc. (see address below) directly via Japan Post’s Collect On Delivery service. If you live overseas, please send the products to your nearest Official Tamiya Distribution Agent. If you have already assembled your purchased product and it operates correctly, then your product is problem-free and does not need to be sent back.
