The 2009 EFRA Electric Touring Car European Championships were held in Luxembourg from July 30th to August 2nd, and once again Tamiya Racing Factory (TRF) was out in force. All five drivers placed within the top-10 qualifying spots, with Jilles Groskamp continuing his rich vein of form this season with by converting his Top Qualifying position into a championship-wining finish. Marc Rheinard followed in 2nd, with Hupo Honigl, Viktor Wilck, and Yannic Pruemper coming home in 4th, 5th, and 6th place respectively. Thus not only has TRF become European champions two years in a row, the team's drivers filled five of the top six positions. As if that wasn't enough, Yannic was the top U-18 finisher, which earned him the Junior European Championship title.
